Events
Celesta, service provider event entertainment.
Agencies, producers, production companies: Celesta designs, obtains the necessary permits for and sets off your fireworks displays and light drone flights. Two services, one signature on the contract.
Five entry points
You’re not looking for a show. You’re looking for someone wearing it.
Depending on whether you’re an agency, a production company or an advertiser, what you expect from us will vary. Choose your option.

Agencies and Production Companies
You provide the concept; we deliver the show. Design, safety, planning and pyrotechnics: Celesta takes on the aspects that put you at risk and provides you with a tailor-made end product.
A fireworks display or a drone show incorporated into your production, without you having to become a pyrotechnician.
MICE agencies
Seminars, conferences, incentive events: a finale that’s the talk of the town on Monday morning. We organise events for groups ranging from 200 to 5,000 people, both indoors and outdoors.
The moment your attendees will still be talking about back at the office.
Brand and communications agencies
A logo drawn by 300 drones, a brand colour maintained to the nearest second: the sky is becoming a medium for communication that can be measured and filmed.
Your message written in the sky, and filming ready for use the very next day.
Executive Production Office
You delegate the production management. We provide the declaration documents, certificates, shooting schedule and set-up schedule, ready to be handed over to your production team.
The complete file, added to your case file – not just a to-do list.
Marketing and drone shows
Product launches, shop openings, brand anniversaries: the drone show is choreographed like a film and re-enacted identically across several cities.
A concept that is replicated from town to town without losing its distinctive character.
Two subjects
Two disciplines, a single signature at the bottom of the contract
Most service providers do one or the other. Running them side by side therefore means having to coordinate two companies, two insurance policies, two tax returns and two installation schedules on the same site. We do both.
Pyrotechnics
The fireworks display
A material that is hot, loud and can be felt in your chest. It requires a safety perimeter, a prefecture declaration and a pyrotechnician holding a qualification certificate.
Drone light show
Drone theft
A silent, precise medium that captures shapes with split-second precision. It operates where filming is prohibited, and is better captured on film than it is when viewed with the naked eye.
A hybrid show is not simply a combination of the two: it is a single, cohesive production, in which the drones set the scene and the pyrotechnics deliver the final punch, all to the same soundtrack and on the same timeline.
What you delegate
Four things you don’t have no longer to be worn
01
A contact person
The designer, the pyrotechnician and the drone pilot are all part of the same team. You won’t have to mediate between two service providers on the day of the shoot.
02
Insurance
A single public liability insurance policy covers the entire show. The certificates are sent out in one go, in the format required by your client.
03
A file
Prefecture declaration, flight plan, safety perimeter, flight exemption: we put together the application and submit it.
04
A timetable
A single schedule for set-up, rehearsals and dismantling, tailored to your own timetable rather than that of two teams working at cross-purposes.
Calendar
Two clocks are ticking, not a single one
That of creation and that of administration. The latter is non-negotiable, and it is this that determines the date from which a project becomes impossible.
3 to 6 months
before the date
The time required to organise a fireworks display: planning, sourcing the fireworks, site survey, firing plan.
1 month
minimum
The administrative requirements for a fireworks display. The prefecture declaration must be submitted and cannot be submitted at a later date.
45 days
minimum
The authorisation threshold for a drone light flight. It runs in parallel with the creation, not after it.
A project that comes to us six weeks before the event date is still feasible using drones if the brief is sent off the same day; it is no longer feasible with pyrotechnics. That is the first question we ask.
Frequently Asked Questions
What the agencies the questions we’re asked most often
What is the difference between a fireworks display and a pyrotechnic show?
A fireworks display is a series of fireworks bursts. A pyrotechnic show is a staged performance: the bursts are choreographed, synchronised to the soundtrack to the nearest hundredth of a second, and organised into scenes that tell a story. The difference lies not in the quantity of fireworks, but in the choreography.
How much time should you allow for a business event?
Allow three to six months’ notice for a fireworks display. On top of this, there are two mandatory minimum timeframes: a minimum of one month for a fireworks display permit, and a minimum of forty-five days for a drone light flight. These timeframes run concurrently with the planning process, not after it.
Who is responsible for permits and declarations?
We. The prefecture declaration dossier, the flight plan, the safety perimeter and the application for a flight exemption are prepared and submitted by Celesta, then forwarded to your production team in a format that can be sent directly to your client.
How much does a show for a corporate event cost?
A drone light show starts at 10,000 euros. For pyrotechnics, the price depends on the venue, the capacity, the duration, the calibre of the products and the complexity of the display: we provide a quote after the site survey, never before.
Is it allowed to shoot indoors, in a hall or under a marquee?
Yes, using stage effects designed specifically for this purpose: cold spark jets, flames and heavy smoke machines. These are not the same products as those used outdoors, and the room’s ceiling height, fire detection system and fire safety classification determine what is possible.
Pyrotechnics or drones: which to choose?
Fire is felt, drones are seen. You choose fire when you want a physical sensation and a dramatic finale; drones when you need to convey a message, respect a sensitive neighbourhood, shoot in an area where open fires are prohibited, or capture clear images for later use. Many projects use both.
Let us know the date. We’ll let you know what’s still possible.
A twenty-minute discussion is enough to establish whether your project fits within the timetable, and in what form.
