14 July celebrations in Asnières-sur-Seine and Clichy

An extraordinary installation, set up on the water

Setting up a fireworks display on a barge of this length involves far more complex logistics than a conventional land-based display: stabilising the platform, using a crane to position the pyrotechnic equipment, and precisely aligning each firing point on a floating surface subject to the current.

Biodegradable products to protect the River Seine

A display taking place directly above the river requires particular attention to be paid to its environmental impact. Celesta has opted for biodegradable pyrotechnic effects, designed to minimise pollution of the water and riverbanks once the display has finished – a requirement made all the more important by the immediate proximity of the river.

A design intended to satisfy both towns

Designing a fireworks display shared by two local authorities means satisfying two distinct audiences, both visually and aurally. Celesta proposed a musical mix shared between the two banks, designed so that each town could find its own unique balance within the display’s soundtrack.
