Arras
Fireworks display for the Grandes Prairies festival in Arras
The open space of the Great Plains allows Celesta to organise a large fireworks display for 15 August.

Major fireworks displays
The opening of a new marina is an event eagerly awaited by local residents and boaters alike. To mark this occasion, the town of L'Isle-Adam has organised a fireworks display launched from the banks of the River Oise, offering a clear view of the spectacle from all the quays.
Celesta has designed a progressive light display, intended to be reflected in the water and to highlight the silhouette of the new jetties. The play of light on the marina’s waters adds an extra dimension to the spectacle, which is particularly appreciated by the audience gathered along the banks.
A riverside fireworks display requires an appropriate safety perimeter, an assessment of wind conditions and coordination with the river authorities, in addition to the standard procedures with the prefecture. Celesta’s certified pyrotechnicians approved each firing point before the festivities began.
Beyond the spectacle, this kind of opening ceremony leaves a lasting impression on local residents and links the image of the new facility with a moment of shared celebration. It is a powerful symbolic gesture to mark the opening of a site destined to become a vibrant hub for the local community.
Each fact sheet sets out the background, the site constraints and the approach adopted.
