International Flyboard Show with Celesta
The Flyboard, a feature incorporated into Celesta’s pyrotechnic shows, both in France and internationally.

Multimedia
Puteaux Town Hall, with its orderly architecture and striking vertical lines, provides an ideal canvas for video mapping. The columns, cornices and windows of the façade serve as reference points for creating three-dimensional animations.
The 3D model of the façade was modelled to the nearest millimetre before filming began, to ensure that every lighting effect followed the building’s contours precisely. This technical stage is crucial to the success of the final rendering, which was then projected live in front of the audience gathered on the forecourt.
Projecting onto a town hall requires the approval of the local council, the installation of projection equipment without obstructing access to the building, and managing crowd numbers on the forecourt. These logistical constraints are taken into account right from the site surveys, several weeks before the event.
By transforming a building that local residents pass by every day, projection mapping creates a strong element of surprise and offers a fresh perspective on an institutional venue. It is a particularly effective format for local authorities wishing to make a lasting impression without resorting to pyrotechnics.
