Arras
Fireworks display for the Grandes Prairies festival in Arras
The open space of the Great Plains allows Celesta to organise a large fireworks display for 15 August.

Major fireworks displays
Rebuilt after the war according to Auguste Perret’s plans, Le Havre has made the regeneration of its tram network a symbol of modernity. The inauguration was accompanied by a multimedia show designed to highlight this link between architectural heritage and contemporary transport.
Illuminated station signage and video mapping highlighted the clean lines of Le Havre’s architecture. The show was timed to coincide with the new train’s first official journey, the highlight of the opening ceremony.
The rebuilt city centre of Le Havre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which means there are strict rules governing any lighting or projections onto the façades. The teams worked in consultation with the city’s heritage departments to approve each installation.
By organising a show to mark the arrival of the tram, the city was able to present this infrastructure not simply as a completed construction project, but as a step towards the sustainable transformation of its living environment.
Each fact sheet sets out the background, the site constraints and the approach adopted.
