Video mapping for Bois-Colombes’ 125th anniversary
125 years of a town’s history
For its 125th anniversary, Bois-Colombes chose video mapping to retrace, through images, the key milestones in its development since its foundation.
Archive footage and animations on a façade
We created a visual narrative combining archive footage, illustrations and contemporary animations, projected onto a façade in the town centre. The narrative was developed in collaboration with the local council to ensure it remained faithful to the dates and landmarks that are dear to local residents.
A show within the anniversary programme
The projection mapping show was billed as the highlight of the 125th anniversary evening, with a precise timetable to ensure it fitted into the rest of the programme.
A dated and documented story
The town offered its residents a dated, documented account of its history, for families to watch together.
